Proud to announce the second year in the Purple Rain partnership. 

Purple Rain is a COLLEGIATE WOMEN'S VALORANT tournament.

This series was created with one thought in mind “Give women a space to play and compete in their own tournament.” With the continuation of this series we are helping to give women a safe space to compete with other teams in one of the most action packed games there is.

ROCKSTAR ENERGY is sponsoring a GRAND PRIZE POOL of $5,000.

This tournament is open to 16 collegiate eligible teams, 1 team per college/university.

Round Robin Schedule

7 Weeks | February 1 - March 21

Default dates on Thursday at 6pm Pacific Time and Friday at 6pm Pacific Time

  TEAM ELIGIBILITY

  • Each team must consist of five (5) main players that are students at the same accredited University/College. 
  • A University/College is allowed to register one (1) team per school.
  • This tournament will be capped at 16 teams.

 

PLAYER ELIGIBILITY

  • Each player must be a student at a University/College.
  • You must provide the following through the GCU Purple Rain powered by Rockstar Energy 2024 Registration Form:
    • Proof of enrollment from your college/university, by providing your student email and student picture ID card.
  • Each player must be 16 years of age or older.
  • Each player must identify as a female or marginalized gender (including but not limited to cisgender woman, non-binary, or trans).

 

Player verification MUST be obtained through via the GCU Purple Rain powered by Rockstar Energy 2024 Registration Form and through college/university email.

$5,000 prize pool will be split as follows*

First Place: $2,500

Second Place: $1,500 

Third Place: $1,000 

 

*Prize money is split equally among all the members of the team.
