Biography
Joshua "LumpyGuy" Alvarez is a scholarship VALORANT player for GCU Esports. Joshua is a freshman majoring in software development and hopes to work as a game developer.

1. What started your journey in competitive gaming?
- I've played video games casually my whole life, but it wasn't until I started hitting higher ranks in Valorant that I even considered taking anything remotely competitive. Seeing GCU offer competitive experiences for Valorant pushed me to start taking the game more seriously.
2. What was your first gaming console?
- Nintendo Wii.
3. What reminds you of home?
- The candle scent "flannel" and content creators I used to watch a lot.
4. Do you have any hidden talents?
- I was in band for a while, so I can do some basic rhythmic patterns that look complex at first.
5. What would you choose as your last meal?
- Authentic Pho.
