GCU's Bright Showcases Near Flawless Bracket Run in FFF #98

Fire Fox Fridays #98 has started marking the countdown to FFF #100, in only 2 weeks! This week, we saw many impressive runs and upsets. Today, we will be running through the highlights of the week.

In pools, we saw the 12 seed, Aggz, take a 2-0 win over rDNA in top 16 qualifiers. We also saw 17th seeded Reflex defeat the 1st seed, Cycl0ne, and we also witnessed the 24th seed, E04, defeat the 7th seed, Mr. Grizz.

After a perfect run in his pools, GCU Varsity Incineroar main, Bright, had a promising top 16 bracket path. He would proceed to beat Aggz and Reflex without dropping a game to make it to Winners Finals. Bright would then beat Shai 3-1 and then would close out the deal with a 3-0 victory over Cycl0ne in Grand Finals. This would cement his run with a set count of 7-0 and a game count of 17-1, nearly a flawless bracket run.
